Cary Cronholm has returned home to her native stomping ground, San Francisco. She has a Bachelors of Arts from Kenyon College where she majored in English Literature and Theater. Cary went on to receive additional training at Midsummer in Oxford, British American Dramatic Academy. In the summer of 2004, Cary was one out of 24 selected to study at Steppenwolf. It was during her training at Steppenwolf where Cary studied Viewpoints with Tina Landau, K. Todd Freeman directed her as Varya in a scene from The Cherry Orchard, and Amy Morton opened her eyes to Meisner. Cary has graced stages in Chicago such as Second City, Improv Olympic, The Side Project Theater, The Chopin, and the Steppenwolf Garage. Cary is a proud Company Member of Collaboraction Theater and a founding company member of Pine Box Theatre! Most recently she trained in San Francisco at A.C.T’s Summer Training Congress.
